This design reminds us that everyone deserves a chance to play. These stamps highlight four transgender athletes, yet do not immediately invoke any imagery or iconography of the trans rights movement. By choosing to omit such iconography, we invite critical analysis of the viewer’s thoughts. If you agree that everyone deserves to play, then change that opinion once you discover that these are transgender athletes, you are forced to confront your own cognitive dissonance on the topic. These stamps were created as part of our ongoing advocacy work for the LGBTQIA+ community.
